Job Description:

Our boutique firm is growing and is looking for an efficient, organized Assistant who is interested in the legal and business aspects of an enterprising boutique law firm. In this position, you'll assist in all office correspondence including answering phone calls and emails, filing firm documents, calendaring upcoming deadlines, and overseeing marketing tasks. Responsibilities:

--- Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines
--- Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently
--- Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events
--- Oversee tasks related to the firm's marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

--- Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position
--- At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks
--- Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs
--- Associate's degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
