Tax Manager - International Tax Services

We are seeking Manager level candidates to grow our International Tax Services (ITS) practice. ITS provides a wide range of tax consulting and tax compliance services for a full spectrum of middle-market multinational businesses and high net worth individuals.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients to identify and address complex domestic and international tax issues
• Supervise multiple international tax engagements and contribute to the delivery of high quality tax planning services
• Build and manage client relationships, and deliver international tax services that exceed client expectations
• Retain, develop, and guide client service team members by providing on-the-job training, effective performance feedback and ensuring assigned responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals
• Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on international tax trends, developments and technical authorities, and apply this knowledge to complex issues
• Identify and assist with development of new business opportunities
• Respond to notices from domestic and foreign tax authorities
• Direct client contact involving international income tax matters, transactional consulting, tax research, and compliance
• Ability to anticipate client questions and is prepared to respond with practical solutions than can be implemented
• Apply complex and innovative transfer pricing concepts and economic knowledge to resolve international, corporate tax issues
• Coordinating work with other client service departments and industry groups to drive collaboration

  Qualifications of ITS Manager Candidates:
  
  • Bachelors in business, finance, economics, management or other related fields of study
  • MBT / MST, JD, LLM or MACC / MPAC is desirable
  • Must be a CPA or member of a State bar
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in professional services or public accounting firm
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Effective time management skills
