Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee the
accounting department's daily operations and ensure accurate
financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the accounting team, including accounts
payable, general ledger, and payroll
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
processes and prepare financial statements in compliance with
USGAAP
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, collaborate with other
departments, and assist in budget preparation and financial
planning
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA certification
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in
a supervisory role
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial
reporting
Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
