Job Description:
Data Scientist- Neural Interface Research is seeking a data
scientist to work on the development of a neurotechnology platform
for the world's first minimally invasive, ultrasound-based neural
implant.About Forest NeurotechForest Neurotech is developing an
ultrasound based BCI and software platform with the aim of
catalyzing breakthroughs in both the understanding and personalized
treatment of the human brain. Ultrasound is capable of measuring
and stimulating brain-wide activity in a minimally invasive manner.
This opens new avenues for research into personalized therapies
across a range of psychiatric and cognitive disorders. To
accelerate these efforts, Forest has secured a with exclusive
access to the only FDA-approved and mass-produced

we're building a deeper understanding and personalized treatment of
the human brain. Our mission is to pioneer the next generation of
neurotechnology, and we're looking for passionate and experienced
people to be a part of this journey. As a Data Scientist at Forest
Neurotechnology, you will collaborate closely with an
interdisciplinary team of neuroscientists, engineers, and
clinicians. Your role will be pivotal in developing algorithms and
models designed to accurately interpret and modulate brain
activity. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute
to groundbreaking work at the intersection of data science and
neurotechnology, shaping the future of neural interface development
and application.Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize data analysis pipelines to efficiently
process, analyze, and visualize large-scale functional ultrasound
imaging and neuromodulation data.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists and engineers to design
experiments and analyze data to improve the understanding of brain
activity patterns and their modulation through focused
ultrasound.
- Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to
interpret complex neural data, identify patterns, and predict
outcomes.
- Develop closed-loop systems for dynamic adjustment of
neuromodulation parameters, utilizing real-time brain activity
feedback to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data management
systems to handle the ingestion, storage, and organization of
large-scale datasets, ensuring efficient access and reliability for
local-protoyping and large-scale model development.
