RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The HR Director must participate in interviewing, hiring, and
training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Must prepare and monitor human resources budget.
- Must have knowledge of industry trends, best practices,
regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law.
- The HR Director must comply with federal, state, and local
employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices;
reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Must supervise employees within the corporate team.
- Responsible for employee relations through design,
communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and
programs.
- Manage and implement training programs, personal and career
development, performance appraisal process, succession planning,
compensation systems, diversity, and benefit programs.
- The HR Director must manage relocation, employee communication,
employee safety and community relations and respond to inquiries
regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Partner with the leadership team to execute human resource and
talent strategy for current or future talent needs, recruiting,
retention, and succession planning.
- Execute routine tasks reasonable accommodations, investigating
allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Investigate and implement proper remedial action, participate
in employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee
orientation, and employee recognition programs.
- The HR Director must oversee employee disciplinary meetings,
terminations, and investigations.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The HR Director must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.). SHRM/PHR
or relevant certification is highly desired.
- Must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a Human
Resources leadership role.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in learning and development
management.
- Must come from an Entertainment, Family Office, Legal or
Accounting.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
- Must have worked in a diverse team.
- Proficient with computers. HRIS system.
