Job Title:EVP, Market Risk ManagerLocation:CA - Westlake VillageWhat you'll do:AmeriHome is seeking a Capital Marketing, MSR Risk Manager to join its growing Capital Markets Trading team. This is a challenging and dynamic role requiring complex problem solving skills, deep knowledge of Capital Markets and experience hedging and trading Mortgage Servicing Rights assets. The ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast paced trading environment, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, a firm grasp of MSR trading and valuation, a strong background holding relevant roles, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Day to day responsibility for hedging the MSR asset
• Develop, propose, and execute hedging and trading strategies
• Oversee MSR trade analysis and optimization
• Track and report on the MSR hedge effectiveness
• Review internal model updates and third party valuations
• Coordinate with internal constituencies such as analytics, contract finance, technology risk, and credit administration on matters relating to the MSR
• Coordinate and carry out ad-hoc analysis and research requestsWhat you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical, math, and critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with VBA and/or SQL is a plus
  • CFA or MBA is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracyCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $226,000.00 - $279,000.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
