This may include primary care and/or specialty care locations across various sites. The role involves collaboration with the Vice President of Medical Group, front-line managers, and staff to improve care quality, enhance financial performance, and boost satisfaction among patients, physicians, and employees. The director works with medical staff leadership-including the Senior Medical Director, Physician Department Chairs, and Physician Team Leaders-to develop and implement business plans for current and future departments and programs. Leading by example, the role emphasizes reducing infrastructure costs and promoting high-value performance.   • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field is required; a Master's degree in health, nursing, business, or public administration is preferred.
  • At least five years of progressive management experience in physician practices, clinics, or hospital departments is preferred.
  • Formal lean training is preferred.
  • Experience in managing and motivating effective work teams.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, contract negotiations, business plan development, and practice management/electronic health records systems is preferred.
  • Experience leading and implementing projects.
  • Experience in the specific medical specialties of the assigned physician offices (e.g., family practice, primary care, medical or surgical specialties) is preferred.
