Compensation Range:Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the
range of $26.37 - $31.31 / Hour depending on qualifications and
experience. Department:839000 PharmacyExpectations:Under the direct
supervision of a pharmacist, performs all assigned tasks and
services related to medication distribution in an accurate, timely
and safe manner. Maintains current California Pharmacy Technician
Registration. This position may require flexibility of
hours.EDUCATION:Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency is
required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned
required.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy
experience is preferred.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required: Current
Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by California State
Board of Pharmacy.Preferred: CPhT issued by the Pharmacy Technician
Certification Board (PTCB).SKILLS:Aseptic Technique, Chemotherapy
Compounding Certification, Competency in specialized equipment
(Automated Dispensing and Cadet Unit Dosing Machines). Knowledge of
Pharmacy Laws and Regulations.Worker Type:RegularFull
