Job Description:
Mercer (US) LLC is seeking candidates for the following
full-time position based in the Los Angeles, CA office (A
telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a
commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company
policies.): Career Consulting AssociateWe will count on you to:Work
with a wide range of clients to help develop and implement rewards
programs for their employees, providing advice on pay philosophy,
rewards strategy, incentive design, market trends, regulations, and
best practices. Draw on global research and rigorous analysis.
Write and structure customized client presentations/reports.
Perform data analysis using advanced dynamic Excel modeling. Draw
conclusions from the data for project managers' and senior
consultants' review. Review and/or develop exhibits based on
collected and calculated data. Work closely with project managers
and senior consultants on the project to determine exhibits to be
included in final client presentations. Understand project
components and processes to make sure analyses are correct. Apply
computer and research skills to understand financial performance,
talent management trends, and pay practices and policies for a
particular client and within the broader marketplace.What you need
to have:Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any
field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or a
related position. Must have two (2) years of experience with all of
the following: Working with and applying various compensation
models, including base pay, bonuses, incentives, and benefits;
Analyzing data and trends related to total rewards and/or human
resources practices primarily through use of compensation
management software, including MarketPay and PayScale, and salary
surveys; Leveraging job evaluation principles and benchmarking
techniques including market pricing and point-factor to establish
organizational structures, internal pay equity, and competitive
compensation positioning against industry standards; Researching
and sourcing data from public filings to conduct analysis on
industry and organization-specific issues including business
strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices
and trends, global expansion, and best practice in career
management; Writing advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and utilizing
Excel to create exhibits and reports on rewards and compensation
programs; Managing multiple workforce rewards, executive rewards,
or HR transformation projects, stakeholders, and deadlines
concurrently; Developing compelling Microsoft PowerPoint reports
that effectively inform key decision-makers of compensation trends,
benchmarking data, and analysis results; Presenting findings and
recommendations to various senior-level stakeholders, fostering
informed decision-making and alignment on compensation strategies;
Leveraging internal employee data to assess organization-wide human
capital and total rewards strategy and providing recommended
adjustments to senior leadership.The applicable base salary range
for this role is $110,000 - $158,000 per year.The base pay offered
will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training,
location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be
determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary,
this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We
